old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 153 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 153 | Was reading in a mag about adding autoloc brand remote door openers and am interested in adding them to my 61. Has anyone used reomote openers on a 60-66? I use my panel for work everyday and it would make life easy to have remote openers. With the push button handle inactive I wouldnt have to deal with locking every time I get out of the truck.
Just a thought,

I've used them on cars that have "shaved" outside door handles, which is the same thing as you want to do, and ones that still have operating door handles. Without seeing your opener I can't give you any specific guidance. Good luck
