to a 1952 chevy 1 ton. Would like to keep original trans and bellhousing. I know I have run across a site somewhere but for the life of me I cannot find it now. Anyone know where to look , Thanks

It could exist, but since swapping the bellhousing is easy, that's the way most people would do it.
Why do you want to keep the bellhousing.

trans. If it were me I would change the whole
drivetrain. Perhaps I can talk him into that.
Chassis Engineering has pretty much everything I need I believe. The only thing is this is a 1ton
truck so I am not sure of the difference in the frame compared to a 1/2 ton . Anyway I can build my own mounts and so forth. It would be less
headache to fit a 235 54-up in the truck but Ihave a 283 powerpack and thought of using it.
I am still looking for the 235 If you know of one ready to go . It don't have to be newly rebuilt, just a good runner will do .
