I just found THIS place in CA. A bit much, but the only one I have found so far. I know a couple others were looking too so I posted it if you are looking. 1957 Chevrolet 1/2-ton Stepside LB in the Gallery My Photobucket shots The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873) | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | yes, Golden State does usually have some TF series stuff others don't, but you should try a rad shop, I've had 2 cores redone locally, a standard and a dlx, no problem

They said its full of pinholes and they couldn't get a core for it. Said pretty much the same thing about my radiator, except that they said they could rework the tanks & recore it for about $400.00. I can buy one from Carters for less than that. Sounds like they just didn't want to mess with it. 1957 Chevrolet 1/2-ton Stepside LB in the Gallery My Photobucket shots The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873) | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 507 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 507 | Alan, try the link below, they should have the heater core that you seek. Best price that I have found from any of the suppliers. http://www.truckandcarshop.com/

I saw some of the parts I need listed cheaper than where I was looking elsewhere.I could not find a heater core listed on there anywhere. You saved me a few bucks by giving me the info because I will try ordering some things from them. 1957 Chevrolet 1/2-ton Stepside LB in the Gallery My Photobucket shots The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873) | | |
