Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 52 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 52 | Hopefully I won't get banned for life for posting this here, instead of in the swap meet, but I've got a 1950's Motorola radio that came with my '47 GMC. I'm not interested in using it, and I've been told by a professional it isn't worth much monetarily, so I'll give it to a fellow stovebolter if anyone's interested, just pay shipping. I don't have a picture of it right now, but I can get one if anybody wants. It's a pretty common radio, and it looks like a 50-year-old radio that hasn't been abused, but it isn't mint by any stretch of the imagination. You can reach me at [email protected].

This old truck sure looks neat, but where are the heated seat controls?!?

Also, I appreciate your posting this here because it is so unique. Motorola made radios that fit in GM cars and I presume trucks. I don't think GM appreciated the competition but they were a lower cost alternative. | | |
