For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 | I have seen patch panels advertised for my 61's radio area. It came as a radio delete but some dork along the way dremeled out the delete and put in a cd player. so now i have a big hole where there should be a nice little plate. I have the delete plate still and I am wondering how hard it would be to weld in the patch panel and return my truck to a true radio delete, not just a radio missing? any reply would be useful.

easily do-able if you weld, or can get someone who can to do it - chopped dashes for later radios is a real common problem on these ol trucks, from the period before such nice updated radios became available to fit the original hole
