Hello, I just picked up a original radio for my 59 Apache. It needs some work and seems to be missing one of the tubes. Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for this radio?

Also there are numerous wires and plugs on the radio. Two wires come out of the same hole in the shell. I assume one is power and the other is a speaker hookup (or is it a ground?). There are also two "plugs" in the radio. The one on the right side is obviously the antenna, but what is the smaller one on the bottom of the unit.

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

oh I think you'll find one nearby grin also the accessory manual helps with the radio installation

keep an eye on the TF threads here, there's gonna be some testing and repairs goin on

the 2 wires together are power [+] to the radio [black] and power [+] to the dial lite [is greyish white], and there's a 3rd [gray/white] that comes out the same place and goes to the actual light bulb, which pliugs into the case - antenna socket fits the antenna end connector on the right side [facing it] - one wire from the speaker goes into the bottom of the radio - other goes to ground, which for the radio is the body of it, grounded to the truck by mounting - power ground is the case as well

stay tuned to this station for further help!

Bill

Bill,

Thanks for the picture and access to the manuals. I am indeed missing the OZ4 rectifier. All of the other tubes are there and light up. My dad has boxes of old tubes, hopefully he has an OZ4.
