What is the proper assembly order?
Option 1: Install bed sides, cross member supports first....and then install the wood after the metal is installed?
Option 2: Install the wood on the frame and install the bed metal around the wood.
Option 3: Assemble the metal and wood separately off the truck and put it all on the truck at once?
Does anyone have a good step by step guide? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | I'd recommend putting the whole metal box together w/ cross sills, set it on the truck, install the wood, bolt it down - really need everything square and secure before the wood goes in, but too heavy for lifting once it's all together
