I've read many posts about the different tranmisions, but haven't found any that tell me how to identify. Is it marked on the case?

To Tomslik, I'm 28 miles north of Hastings in GI. Small world isn't it. Thanks for the info. The transmission was working fine in the Caprice, I'll hope my luck holds.
