I am going to get Flowmaster 40s for the mufflers. And i was looking for a good split exhaust manifold. Chevy duty has one and so does clifford performance. does anyone have either manifold on their 235 and what do they sound like. I am deciding on which manifold to get. Also how do the 235s sound with dual exhaust and does it perform any better? If anyone has a comment about dual exhaust on a 235 please let me know!! Thanks old54truckluvr

I didn't drive the truck much with the original manifold, so I can't say much about power difference. With cheapie mufflers, it was actually pretty quite, but, I'm sure they would have a nice sound to them with better mufflers . Since I'm dropping in a TBI 350, I don't really have a use for these fentons, so you could email me if you're interested.

They're in Hutchinson and do excellent work. Search this forum and you will find phone numbers and a picture or two. They do an excellent job, and won't work with a bad manifold.

I can just let it sit and idle and just listen. No performance gains... but that's not the point is it.
