I want to put some aftermarket wheels like wheel vintique smoothies but I don't know how wide I can go with a stock 50 half ton. Any help is much appreciated;) :p

#27901 06/14/2004 10:51 AM | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 40 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: May 2004 Posts: 40 | i went and looked at a 1954 1/2 truck for sale a couple of weeks ago, and asked the guy would he sell the 7" chrome wheels and "Baby Moons",,the tires are goodyear 215R-70/15" wheel.......i bought all 4 for $125//total.......put them on my 1950 3100 panel.......looks real nice......and handles so much better than the old 30 year old 600/16".......rides better also........let us know what you buy..........flintriver

I have an older set of chrome smoothies put on by the previous owner from them on my truck and they look and ride good, although they are getting rusty. I am going to get another set when I can.
Just tell them what vehicle it is for and they should be able to set you right up.
