I have a new radiator, radiator cap, themostat and water pump but everything has been sitting for several months.
Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be a thermostat? I'm at a lost :confused: | | |

I have had new one's not open because they were binding. I would also probably try running it without the thermostat just to see if it quits over heating....if it does then you know it was probably the thermostat and just replace it with a new one.

The thermostats I've bought for my truck has always had a small hole pre-drilled.
