At work ,in the sawmill, we quite often run into that. If we don't replace the part, sometimes we weld the hole shut with brass brazing rod and redrill it. In order for the rod to stick you first have to heat the metal to a red hot and then apply the rod . This actually works very well, but if you.ve never done it, I'd use a practice piece first. By using flux coated brass rod ,it's sort of like having a built in bushing.It seems to last very well, and the up side is when it wears out, you simply do the same procedure again. The other way we sometimes do it ,is, drill the holes out and put in bushings.
