Hi Bo - I've got 5 of the 6 installments. Unfortunately missing installment 2 which I'm guessing is about fuel delivery system. See my slightly longer reply to your post in the Lounge.

WAY COOL!
I HAVE 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9, AND 11! I'M GOING TO GET THESE COPIES SCANNED HOPEFULLY TODAY AND I WILL BE ABLE TO EMAIL YOU THE ONES YOUR MISSING. I WOULD LOVE TO GET EPISODE FIVE FROM YOU(I'M STARTING TO SOUND LIKE A TREKKY!) IF POSSIBLE. ALSO SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE MORE ARTICLES ABOUT THE SAME SUBJECT THAT I WOULD LOVE TO PERUSE,
THANKS,
BO

HI again Bo.

Turns out that I was asleep at the switch late last night in that I thought that there were only 6 installments- turns out that there are in fact 18 "episodes" regarding this truck build up - the only one that I am missing is in fact #2. I have all the rest and will gladly get them scanned or photocopied to share with you. I would appreciate having the 2nd article.

I re-read all the articles again - disappointed that there isn't a picture of the completed truck - which was also my disappointment with his AD series "lo-Phat"

Doc Frohmader seems like a very interesting guy - he has written for several auto related magazines and seems to be able to do anything from upholstery to welding up a rear axle - sometimes it seems to me that all that I can do is read about others.... :p

AWESOME NEWS!
I'M GOING TO TRY AND GET THE 2ND ARTICLE SCANNED AND PUT IN A HALF DECENT FORM FOR EMAILING. IF I CAN'T ACCOMPLISH THIS I WILL MAIL YOU THE ARTICLE.
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT READING INSTEAD OF DOING. I WORK AT A GENERAL MACHINE SHOP AND I STILL CAN'T FIND THE TIME TO GET MY TRUCK RESTORED. I WISH I WASN'T SO BUSY MAKING A LIVING!
TAKE CARE,
BO

How about "we" get this together somehow and put under the "tech" section so someone else can tap for information when building a future 292.

52pu - great suggestion, and I appreciate the e-mail!

We would have to consider the copyright question, if this was some published article. Still, I imagine with a written request to the mag an electronic reprint might be possible.

With that done, shouldn't be a problem getting it posted as a tech tip. Let me know how I can help!
