One set has two small groves across the blade and the other set has one wider single grove approximately 7/8. Problem? Which set belongs on this truck? They both appear to be similar in length and shape and bolt up to the same brackets. And? Are panel and pick-up bumpers the same? I've been looking for a '40 panel rear bumbper for my pickup for a long time. If that isn't the one you wind up using please let me know.

| | | | | Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 62 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 62 | NICK; I HAVE A 1939 CHEV SUBURBAN AND THE PROPER BUMPERS HAVE THE 1 INCH WIDE GROOVE WHICH WAS PAINTED BLACK. I WOULD GUESS THE SAME BUMPER WAS USED ON GMC TRUCKS AS WELL.
