For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 466 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 466 | Trying to plan a road trip to drag home a GMC Panel this weekend. At first the guy said it was a 47 to 53 GMC panel. I saw some small pics on his camera viewer yeaterday and I think it is a Suburban that someone covered the windows on. Also noticed the very nice looking dash with the 54, 55.1 guage panel, and no divider bar in the windshield. Missing a one front fender, grill and rad. Has barn doors
So it just might be a 54, 55.1 GMC Suburban in rebuildable condition. Time will tell, its a 100 miles away. Hope to get it home this weekend.

The folks in charge of the Right of Way where the Burb is at the last minute called and said we could not get it this weekend because they needed to do some paperwork and get a letter to us saying it was ok to be on their ROW for the purpose of removing the Burb, OR, in the spring they could move it with a loader. I don't like that idea!! I want to get wheels on it so it can be rolled. Anyway, as of now it is on hold until spring unless I can talk my way around a couple of people. OldSub - I'll post some pics if I ever get down there to see it.
