50Chev,

Here's a great FAQ by Barry Weeks "What is My Truck Worth."

See if that will at least get you going.

cletis I'll see your hun and raise ya $25. 50chev without pictures hard to tell. I paid $1000 for my 49 with rust bucket floorboard but good body otherwise. A lot depends on what part of the country you are in. Good luck on bringing her home.

1-ton models are less desireable than 1/2-tons. I think the 1/2-ton unit body looks rather squished, and that the 1-ton is far better proportioned. It's a matter of personal preference and luck of the draw.

I paid $150 for my '51 1-ton panel, but it's really no more than a parts truck.... I paid more for gas to go collect it than I paid for the truck!

I like the 1-ton models ... I just realize that they aren't as desirable in the marketplace.

I always wanted to cut 12" out of a short one, add windows, and make an AD Blazer. YEAH! Now you're thinkin' straight!!!

No Buddy if you're thinking straight those lines would ruin an AD truck. You have to keep the curves!

One of my very long-term plans is to get another 1-ton and two trashed Subs and build a 1-ton Suburban.
