Well I haven’t posted much lately, but I have been checking in and keeping up with everyones posts.
The last thing I posted (progress wise) was the dash plate I welded in, then the question about paint codes. So I’m back with more updates and pic’s to show my appreciation for everyone’s help. It's really starting to come together.
Check it out On another note about my plan, I’m taking it in stages if anyone was wondering. Instead of tearing the whole truck down to its frame then building it back up (many years involved), I’m collecting/building/restoring what I can in its present condition. Then when I have everything (or most everything) I’ll break it down and do a complete build. I figure this way I’ll get it on the road and be able to enjoy it for a bit. Plus, see exactly what it needs mechanically, aesthetically, functionally etc.
Next I’ll be looking for a heater to put in, repair the doors (welding in new panels to fix door bottoms) and getting an exhaust (aluminum) put on. Then off to inspection
