how many hours is a tough question! many days and weekends, not to mention i took a vaca for a week to get in on the road, this truck was a hand full, i cant wait to get it painted and with ice cream machine back in it, the funny thing is that i took my vw bus which was my daily driver off the road since i did not want to pay insurance on another, so i am driving this chevy every day, ppl really get a kick out of it.

Lookin good. smile Have you ever thought about approaching a maker of ice cream to see if they would want to lease advertising space? Remember all of those VW bugs back in the '70s and 80s? grin

We have three of these trucks at work. What company built your body? I think one of ours is an "Olsen Curbmaster" and one is a "Grummann" or something similar. The other is a mystery. All 3 are aluminum-bodied.

We also have a steel-bodied one out back that used to be a military ambulance. It still has the cots in the back...

They do work great for concessions... Or sneaking a 30 min nap... If you don't mind the raccoons in the upper cot...
