Did they offer the Custom Appearance Option or Custom Chrome option on the C1504 (longbed stepside)? If so was the cab trim plate deleted.
Could you option a baseline truck with the chrome bumper and aluminum grille only.

The reason I am asking is my Standard cab 66 got in a fight with a F@&d Explorer and I just aquired 2 custom cab Fleets to use as parts.

I like the idea to keep it a base truck with a few trimings if it whas ofered that way from GM. If not I will convert to a custom cab w/ all the chrome knobs.

Chrome bumpers(not grille) were an option, yes, the steps could get the Custom trim(better seat, chrome bumper/grille/knobs, RH sunvisor, LH armrest, etc), but no molding on the sides-should have the cab emblem tho.
