I'm considering swappng my 235 for a 292 or a 250 so I can bolt in an automatic. Can anyone tell me what to expect in doing this swap? I've been told it is an easy swap, but would like to know what I will have to do with the motor mounts, and any other issues I might run into.

Thanks!!

I think Langdon's Stovebolt Engine Company offers adapters to bolt a modern automatic to the 235. Or you can always find a vintage Hydramatic... grin

Are those hyramatics hard to come by over there?
