Can anyone tell me if the vent glass frames for a 53 can be purchased,and where? I only need the frames that hold the glass that pivots,mine are rusted out THANKS

I never could find any. Several people lately have been talking about removing the vents from their doors and using the single window from earlier doors. Maybe someone has a frame to sell.

Several of the suppliers have the vent frames in chrome and they come with clear glass already installed.

Could not find them in American Classic inventory but the Classic Parts part no is 03-870L and 03-870R

Its not hard to recondition the old vents...cheaper....brand new vent with glass seems to be a lot of money....with the old you may have 35.00 dollars into it to make it new.
