Avoid the '88 and later 6 lug rims, the offset is different and will rub. You could also use some jap truck rims, but again, there's some offset issues, especially on the solid axle trucks.

I have a set of American Racing six lug rims on my 2000 Chevy Tahoe that will bolt on any of my '64-'66 Chevy 1/2 ton trucks with the factory six lug hubs. Off set is not usually an issue if you are running factory drums.
The wheels of the '72 4x4 should fit with no clearance issues. Good luck with your search.
