For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2007 Posts: 8 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2007 Posts: 8 | I recently purchased a GMC flat bed, with dual wheels. Its designated 250 on the fenders. I'm not sure if this is the original fender emblems or not. Can anyone tell me what numbers designated what weight class truck? I'm familiar with the designations on Chevrolets, but never found out about the old GMC's. The truck is in excellent shape...now...I have to get rid of my 54 five window Chevrolet so I can get the flat bed in the garage! Thanks....Liggett Morris

As CenTex 52 says, Old GMC trucks has the info you need but that doesn't mean you can't hang out here too. I have a 1954 3100 that has to find a new home, but this 50 GMC is going to look nice next to my cars!! Can't wait to get it on the road!
