I need the spring pad to spring pad center to center, top of king pin to top of king pin center to center and the heighth of the king pin bosses. Could one of you be so kind to make these for me off an AD axle?

Brian, these aren't exact cus it's 05:00, I tain't had my coffee yet and shes all together in one piece so I'm only using a tape threaded through her under belly plus I'm just eyeballing it. If ya need exact numbers maybe someone with a bare frame can get them.
CL of Spring = 26.5",
CL at top of spindle = approx 50",
Bottom of axle to top of spindle, at the kink pin boss = approx 8"
This if from a '50, 3604. Hope that's what you were lookin for.

I think that is all I need right now. I bought an axle yestereday at a swap meet that is 55-59 and I wanted to know if just the spring pads needed to be brought in, or if the whole thing was wider. It's one of those dropped axles with the forged ends and tubing in the middle that Speedway Sells.

I am told that the ones for the early truck aren't actually available and I wanted to see if I could use this one. But being the difference between pad width and overall axle width are different, I am going to just wait and hope that the early one comes out before I even think about modifying this one to work.

I am still willing to narrow the axle AND move the pads in on the axle as well, but only as a last restort.

Thanks Denny, Brian
