Hey Folks,

Does anyone have a picture of how the rad support is suposed to mount in an AD truck? Does it mount with two bolts right in the middle? Or one on either side? Is there a separate braket(s) that are welded to the bottom of the whole rad support piece?

Thanks
Colin

Two in the middle to the crossmember, Colin. If you want to see a photo go to my site at the bottom of the page. Go to photos, about the 3rd or 4th page of the photos. Two bolts on both sides to the inner fenders and 2 bolts on the top to the inner fenders.

Thanks Coach,
Here is a picture I found on your site, not sure if its the one you meant but it shows it just fine.

Are those just rubber pads (about how thick?) between the support and crossmember?

When I got mine, it had a homemade bent steel plate bolted on to the two bolt holes seen in between where yours mounts (as in just one center mount). I'm just trying to get it right so my hood fits properly.

Thanks again.

The more I look at it, the more it looks like there is a steel bracket on the bottom. If that is the case, about how thick is that? How high is the rad support off the crossmember?

Yes there are 2 brackets welded to the bottom of the rad support. I would say that it is about 3/4 to one inch,[brackets] . The rubber pad is about 3/16 of an inch. Hope that helps. Frank
