i am 19 years old and i know it might seem far fetched or i ve just been real lucky but i have been collecting gm trucks for about a year now. i have a 1970 chevy 1/2 ton long bed flettside, a 1957 chevy 1/2 ton steside, 1956 gmc napco 4x4 1/2 ton pickup and my newest one is this 1951 gmc 1/2 ton pickup. now i ve gotten all of these trucks really really cheap, none over 400$, the first three are going to be updated with small blocks and muncies, but the 51 i want to restore.? should i?

Yes, I think you should restore your '51, especially since most people hotrod them in California.

(This will get their attention)
I'm really not much for the big time restos. Down to the last nut and sticker. I fall more on the hot rod side of the fence. But, after reading your other post about the condition of the '51 (and since you have other trucks to rod) I would restore this one for sure. I'm sure there are many a 'bolter on this page that would've loved to have started out with a truck with all it's original parts in place. Count your blessings on this one brother. Many a buck has been spent just to collect the pieces you have already!!
But, as always, it's your truck. It's your choice!
Just my 2 cents!

I think for a young guy you spend way too much time with trucks and need some girls. Also, that GMC would look much better with this old guy over here in Walnut Creek.
