What is the difference in the cab on a 55 2nd series 6400 and the cab of a pickup truck of the
same era? I am considering putting the cab on a later model pickup frame but don't know if it would look right.

Hy hope4u, there is no difference in the outside dimensions of the 55B [2nd] thru 59 Chev. and G.M.C. cabs that I'm aware of. There are two different floor openings sizes available though, and some cabs have a reinforcement where the door post and floor meet, hope that helps.
