I'm looking for a good copy of a 1951 Chevy accessory page from the restoration package. The page is not all there from Chevy.If any body as a copy from 47 up to 51 would also be a help. Chevy will not send me any other year because I only show on there records that I own a 51 only.

So call 'em and give them the VIN number off a '47 thru '51 truck.. they shouldn't give you any problem.

I ordered THREE resto packs from GM, all three times I told 'em I had a 1946 Chevrolet 2 ton truck.. all three times they sent me the resto pack for 1946 Passenger Cars.

Finally I just gave up.

I have called and ordered restoration packs a couple of times, sometimes they are nice and give me a couple different years without even an accurate vin#, other time they were real sticklers for the rules. Just keep callin' and play the game till ya get someone on the other end who is laid back, or stupid, whichever comes first Remember, GM is a giant corporation with protocols that can never be all encompassing!

I had the same experience. I received a pack for cars not trucks. It must be blamed on the condition of public education in this country.

I just recieved mine yesterday. When I called them they didn't even ask for a VIN or anything. I told them the year and model and that was it. They took my address down and I got it a few days later.

That was a help, Turns out the page for 1951 was half missing like mine and for 1950 was missing all together so I printed one from the 1949. I'm sure some things may have changed.

The 1958 one (for trucks) was missing several pages. I called and asked... nothing they can do about it. I asked about 1959 and 1957... no can do.

OK guys, so what do you expect for free? Yah they are somewhat less than high quality, and don't know too much about anything... but it's free!

The resto pack for my 38 included all the vehicles they offered, cars, trucks, buses, taxi cabs, etc. Meby they changed by 46????

I wrote in for the 2 I have; 55-1st and 50. None of the pages about the engine in the 50 were legible but the 55-1st was all high quality.

I thought maybe that was the case after they sent me the second one.

The first page has a pic of a 1946 Stylemaster on it.. the second page says PASSENGER CARS 2-1-46 CHEVROLET 1946 SPECIFICATIONS PASSENGER CARS on it.

Then diagrams of all the available models of passenger cars.

Shows how to decipher the Serial number, with no mention of any kind of truck, just lots and lots of information, illustrations, diagrams.. but none of it has anything to do with trucks.

I noticed that the 2nd Resto Package that I got for my '48 was of much lower quality like they were making copies of copies of copies........

I found that most of the important info that was in my resto pack I was able to find on here anyway. I was kind of hoping it would have more info that I didn't know already but as was mentioned earlier, you get what you pay for.
