64Rebel, in order to get the size tire you want, you're going to have to change wheels. Actually, 31x10.50x15 is pushing the limit on the stock rim. It's just too narrow to give the support for the sidewalls. I'd suggest at least an 8" rim to give the extra support. Running the narrow rims will make for some squirrley handling as the tire will flex too much.

They do make a chrome ralley like what the SS cars used to run in a 15 x 8. American Racing has them in the proper 6 lug that will fit your truck.

My suggestion is to bag and tag EVERYTHING!Buy different sizes of zip lock bag's and some sharpies.Take lots of pic's with a digital camera and load them on a disk.Write lot's of notes and take your time but not to much time.Work on it everyday, even if it's 5 minutes to clean something.Lot's of people go gung ho than they burn out leaving unfinished project's.Dont try and do everything yourself,it's a nice idea but your truck will not come out nice.I know some people will argue with me about this but not everybody is a pro at EVERTHING.Try and barter as much as possible, offer your services, you would be suprised at how many guy's would be willing to do some work for you in exchange for your manual labor ie sanding/cleaning small part's.My 2 cent's!
