Does any one know if the chrome headlight bezel was an option for all trucks from '41 to '47 or did some years have it chrome while other years were painted. The ones that are on my '41 1 1/2 appear to be painted from original because they are black on the inside of them, while another pair I have (not sure what year) are chrome. Thanks for any help! smile

The bezels on my uncle's 44 are painted. You can see them (not real well, though) in the link to my truck in my signature line. Hope this helps.

Most trucks of our vintage came with painted bumpers, headlight bezels and such, chrome was a luxury that cars came with along with extra moldings and stuff, Im planning on buying new bumpers and bezels for my 57 3100, the most expensive part is the grill, it's $530.00 from the Truck Shop in Orange,Ca, if anyone knows were I can purchase one for cheaper please let me know.
