My 67 Suburban has some "funny" (except not funny at all) symptoms.. Can anyone describe to me symptoms of a clogged fuel line?
(In short: she cof(f)s(?) and sputters during a heavy right foot)
I can describe it better later.. Right now shes packed for easter, going skiing and such..

ENGINE: 250
TRANS: 3 on the tree

GM250: There should be one someplace between tank and fuel pump, don't know much about 6's just start looking, alot of the guys have that motor, take line off at carb, have somebody turn motor and see if line is flowing good. That a start! Nice truck!! popcorn The Truth is out There (Ok 6 cylinder guys a little help)

There should be a filter in the big fitting where the fuel line goes into the carb. Make sure you put the filter in the correct way(spring goes in first then the filter --hole end of the filter out).
The large fitting also has very fine threads and can be damaged very easily when trying to thread it back into the carb so make sure it goes in straight and turns easy.

A clogged fuel line will have symptoms such as you describe.
Does it cough(coff), sputter then run ok after ??? or does it remain constant or even cough, sputter and even quit running??
