I ordered one from the former Chevy Duty and it looks sort of right but when you try to put it on it is all backeards and too wide. (at least for my setup.

The parts books (specialty) shows one for a '54, but I think they usually fall off or are taken off. The ones I remember were so devastated by grease and grime that we took them off and dumped them in the trash. The setup works fine without a boot....restorations aside!

I failed to mention that my truck is a '54 1/2 ton. I don't doubt that they have a pretty short life and may be just as well left off. Carolines truck- thanks for the links but all of them are too wide and only the second looks close but like mine it has the fork hole at the wrong end. And TC that is a good question. (Strange that so many dealers think this part will work on the truck.) I just checked the original Chevrolet dealers parts books and there is no listing for a boot until '55 second series. I'm thinking that answers it?
