Has anybody tried something like this? Seems too good to be true. It's currently on sale so I'm tempted to buy one for my bolt if it worked. Thanks for any insight.

I never believed these worked but I bought an old Hyundai for my wife and there was one on the vehicle. It's a 96 and there is not a speck of rust anywhere. We live in upstate NY where they use so much salt in the winter the roads are whiter from the salt than if they had snow on them.

Did you read the warranty sentence under the product description?

5-year product warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, and a limited 5-year rust warranty (if installed at a Canadian Tire store), when accompanied by proof of purchase.

I am not familiar with the product, but the technology is viable and widely used. I have seen this technology applied to expensive structures such as large storage tanks, bridges, ships, buildings and pipe lines. I don't see why it wouldn't work on an automobile.
