I have a chance to buy a 52 chevy 1/2 ton pu that has a subframed chassis. The front is a camaro with disk brakes, 350 engine and tranny and a 10 bolt rearend Engine has headers and alum. highrise. The welds are very clean and fabrication looks very good. There are 2 bodies and lots of doors and fenders. I also get new rubbers chrome bumpers and 2 sets of guages. The body has been blasted and needs floor work and cab corners. Thie body has been sitting outside for 2 years with no paint. Needless to say, it needs blasting again! The guy is asking 3000.00. To me, no more than $500 if I planned to finish it or use most of it.

I also place a lot of value in what is missing and what will have to be reworked. I try to make an itemized list, determine a value to me and what I can sell off(and I devide that by half). Today he wants $3000, make a reasonable offer based on you considerations and more than 50% of the time I hear back from them. Life, spouse and cash factors have a way of moving things along. Rev
