My inner fenders have staples thru them from some flexible edging long since rotted away. I suppose I'll screw it on with a strip because my ex brother-in-law borrowed my fender stapler and never returned it. 
They named it Apache cause it has a patchy welded here and a patchy welded there.
| | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | rubber - the staples are needed if yer gonna fake the piece on the bottom against the frame [not available repro], but there's correct repro rubber pieces available for the back edge that have a slot that fits snuggly on the inner and is 'captured' against the cab, no fastening required - originally stapled so it stayed with the panel on the line until installation

Chevs of the 40s, I&I Reproductions & Hampton Coach are just a few. Some sell rolls of differing lengths and I think Chevs sells it by the inch.
