| | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | i have a 1964 Chevy C10 that i'm switchin to a 4x4 suburban frame and i was thinking of ideas on how should i paint the truck i'm kicking back and forth the idea of leaving it the nice "patina" finish or go Gloss Black with dark purple flames now the truck is getting no body work and the colors have to be available in either rattle can or 1 gal cans of rustoleum the truck has dents and rust spots so i'm just open for any ideas what have any of you seen that looks good on this year of truck? its a long bed also

Black will show every flaw. I think it looks horrible to paint over dents and rust.

Buddy | | | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | i don't know guess i would like to paint it and i know black makes everything show up but me honestly don't care if the dents show up or not but i definately like the idea of going all out with the "Patina" with the whole waxing it sounds real fun but it'll be a one day thing cause if i take er muddin there goes the nice finish spose if i wanted to get real fancy i could put a couple coats of clear on it but who knows anyone else got more ideas?
