I just bought a 1950 1 ton Canopy Express. I would like to communicate with other owners of these vehicles from around the same vintage. This is my first old Chevy and I'm at a loss for parts sources and manuals/parts books for this truck. Thank you.

welcome to the bolt steve. C.E.'s are similar to panel's and suburban's. try this in the panel and burb section. also up near the post topic button is the search button. search keyword "canopy express" or something similar. there should be a ton of info on it here and check the photo gallery there are some pics in there. happy boltin .tom[-------] if ya post pics they will come grin

Click the american clasics banner above and have a look around.Other scorces for mechanical parts and litereture are chevy duty,jim carterantique truck parts,and the filling station .These should get you started.

Well you sure started with an excellent choice.

The CE 1 ton is a great truck.

Also do a search on books. You'll find a great selection of reading materials.
