| | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 267 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 267 | i have two tanks for a panel(53) one has holes about 1" from the bottom ,the other about 1" from the top. the metal on the bottom half is a heavier gauge than the top half. what have you done to repair a tank,who have ya sourced,ect.i want to stay orginal if at all possible. gimmie me some ideas!!!!!!!!!!! :confused:

| | | | | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 | Used to be that you could get a gas tank welded at any radiator shop. I don't know if there are any in your area that will still weld one. Around here no one will weld a gas tank any more.
I don't know how big the holes are. If real small, I've had good results with the POR-15 tank sealer.
