I was out & about today and saw this truck parked in a lot:

The sign on it that's too blurry to read in the photo is a guy that does custom work. I'm certain he did the tandem axle and the extended cab.

Speaking of...
The X-cab on this looks like quality bodywork, but the rear windows don't look like they belong. Also, the slope of the roof in the back looks odd to me.
But that's just my personal opinion. The work itself appears at a glance to be quality.

Now that I own an AD truck, I'm noticing more and more of them around....

That's a really bad photo of the truck, you need to shoot from the sunner side, not into the sun. I can't really see the tandum rear axels in the photo.

I realize it's a horrible quality photo.
I had limited time, a crappy digital camera (the one built into my Treo) and no opportunity to try to caputre a Glamour Shots pose.

And i'm sorry, despite the crappy photograph, the tandem axels are pretty obvious.

that's the crappiest pic of a pier 1 imports that i have ever seen...

..ya have to appreciate the work involved...It isn't something i would want, but i bet he didn't make it to suit me

did you see if the back axle is a tag or was it hooked up?

I'd file that under "Bad to the bone!!"

With a hopped up motor, it would be sweet for use in pulling a 5th wheel trailer.

That is a pretty neat truck. I am not too sure what the purpose of the tandem is, but it looks good. I think that the ext cab is good too. If a guy did custom work it would be a good way to advertise his skills. Cool.
