The engine in my 46 2ton is casting # 3695408 and the stamped # is x496546.The head is cast 3695451.These numbers don't show up in the inliners list. Where can I find a list of Canadian casting #'s.This engine has the 216 style valve cover and the short side cover.It looks like it was repaired as a short block not that long ago. Block is grey-blue under the dirt,oilpan an valvecover have no paint on them.I expect that it is a latter 216 but who knows? What is average oil pressure for one of these when idling?Any safe ideas for cleaning some of the sludge out of the oilling system without hurting it? Thanks for any help, Jim.
