I am ready to get the cab off this weekend, but I cannot figure out how to get the brake pedal off. The was nut that holds the actuall brake pedal to the linkage that is attached to the master cylinder. Does it unscrew or need to be pressed out? Is there another way? Oh, it is the 58 Apache. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | the upper arm of the brake pedal stuff is a taper fit into that lower arm and will be held tight by "corrosion glue" - back the nut off to flush to protect the threads and smuck it a good one w/ the BFH - helps to wedge a 2x4 or something in behind the lower arm
