For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 | This is probably something everyone on the planet knew about long before me...but, if you have the Google tool bar installed, it has a real neat spell check function as one of its features. One of my sons pointed it out to me after he caught me spelling cat with a "K"! As has been pointed out many times on this site, we are here to help each other with the hobby of old iron, not the three R's. If you were to want the spell feature, and had the Google tool bar installed, you could use it or not. Mi twoe sceentz! I am not really sure, but I always thought it was a bastardization of a German word which meant an area WAY out in the sticks..so to speak. I guess you could Google it and come up with the actual meaning, if there is one. My dad was born in Alberta. He took me there on vacation when I was young. A beautiful country.

Thanks, I guess I have been using it half-arsed correctly for all these years. I would pity the hacker that accessed my computer..HE would come down with a raging virus.

You would also say backwoods. By the way, trash that Explorer and get Firefox. It´s free and I have no more Virus, Exploit, Barndoor trouble since I have it. Many greetings from sunny southern Germany , Frank | | |
