Okay, does anyone know the size of the screws that hold the interior door handles and cranks on. I've tried machined screws and only one seems to fit but is loose like the threads are worn. I was thinking the holes where the screws mount might be stripped. Would like to know the proper size before I get drastic and retap.
Thanks Bob T

I'm going from memory here (whhich is usually faulty) but I think I used a 10-32 round head machine screw.

It wouldn't suprise me if they are stripped, that happens after about 50 years.

Good Luck

I just went out there and took mine off of my '45 to measure it. It's definatly a 10-32 for '41-'46 trucks.
