I was just getting my list of parts that I need to order tommorrow ready and ran across a couple of questions: How many "Vent Handle Spring Washers" are needed to both vent windows? How many "Vent Handle Roll Pins" are needed to do both vent windows?, How many "Vent Window Lower Pivot Springs" are needed to do both vent windows?, How many "Window Stop Bumpers" are needed to do both windows?, Is Chevy Duty's Windshield glass priced for both sides of a two piece windshield or just one? The truck the parts are going on is a 52 3100. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

one of each for each window, you'll hafta ask CD about the windshield glass

I recall reading an earlier post on the lower pivot springs from CD. I think it comes as a single long spring you cut into two pieces. As bill said, ask CD.

Thanks for the help, I think I got it all strightened out now. I ordered about 35 things from CD this afternoon and they were real helpful and nice. I ended up going to a local classic chevy parts store and buying the glass from them, a little bit overpriced, but worth it not to have to risk getting broken glass. Again, thanks for the help.

Hey, another new guy here. I have just obtained a 1957 chevy stepside 3100 pickup that needs restoring. This will be my very first restoration, so I will need everyones advice on this. next step might be to go to the links page here and check out the 'publications' section, or check any of the parts places, who all sell shop manuals and general resto guides

then of course we'll be waiting to see some pictures, which can accompany a submission to the editor for the gallery - we all like pictures!
