| | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | old trucks are just the way to go granted they may not get as good mpg as a newer one but you make a few mods and they will do just as good i got a ways to go on my 1970 Chevy CST/10 but once i get it done that will be my daily driver, from what i can tell the rear end has 3.08 gears so it will cruise nicely without the exhaust shatering your ear drum, right now i drive a 1990 s10 blazer and i hate the darn thing really wish i didn't have to buy it but since gas was goin up pretty much didn't have a choice but i don't have the money to make an older truck get 20 mpg so what do ya do? but 60 years from now (if i'm still alive) i still will be driving my old trucks
