Can ANYONE tell me for 100% sure that you can/can't change the 58 fenders to a 57-earlier truck and & everything from bodyline to bolt holes match up? someone said you could but i don't think you can

If you change the front fenders you will have to change the grill, hood and maybe the core support.

there are a couple problems w/ that swap - the 58 frame is longer than the 5-7 by about 1.5" so the bumper will clear the fenders properly [why there's a different splash piece added between grill and bumper on 58-9] and the inner fenders are different to take the different hood hinges for the 58-9 - also the mount points for the 8-9 hood hinges are slightly different than the earlier cabs, and you'd hafta use the whole 58 front - but the body lines are the same, fender mounts the same

can be done, but not worth the struggle - I put a 56 cab w/ 57 nose on a 58 frame - frame had to be cut as shown

there are other slight differences in the 58-9 cab firewall needed for the optional V8 accelerator linkage

oh yeah, as Houston sez, rad support and grille would be needed too
