For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 81 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 81 | i have one, and a local buyer i just want to know what a fair price is. it was reported functional, all the parts are there save for the column shifter it is supposed to use.
it came out of a mid 60s half ton, still has the 235 engine attached. i've never used it, bought as a package and i want the engine. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | maybe 200 $ - end of 235 was 62/63 - early 60's would be no 1st syncro, late 60's would have syncro 1st [and worth more]

I' have four of them and have paid between $125 to $200. The later trans with synchro first gear were the ones I paid $200 for. I always negotiate with the seller, but sometimes these transmissions sell fast. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 622 Member | | Member Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 622 | Where can I get one and what do they look like?
