It has been a long three days. Been doing the last minute things before paint. Worked on it all day saturday till 11:30 pm. A few last minute things to do at 6 am this sunday morning . I spent the day polishing the rims while Tom started to squirt the base color by 9 am. I left the shop at 5 pm as I have to work early in the morning. 4 coats Base color was done at this time and the first coat of orange glow went on. After 5 or 6 coats of orange then there is 3 coats of clear to go on. Should be finished painting around 11:30 pm sunday. It will be hard to work the whole day tommorrow waiting to go see the final resaults. I will post more pics in the next day or two of the final color. In the mean time look here to see what the base color looks like. Look in the ready for paint album.

Yeeeeee-ikes! Congratulations, it's out of this world. Just crazy in love with the color. To be honest I hate the rims but nobody's gonna be looking at them! Can't wait to see it all done.

Sublime I love the color and I like the rims. I think they are just right not to hooky like the wagon wheel rims but not too much like some of the over the top rides are using today. Very cool Truck!
