I'm putting the nose (front fenders, grill surround, grill etc) back on my truck this weekend, and I don't have my service manual with me for reference. Particularly looking for how the grill surround meets up with the frame and the fenders, and a side shot showing the relationship of the fender to the cowl.
My truck is a huge hodgepodge of parts that I'm tring to make look like they all belong on the front of a '39. It's got a '42 cab (with two sets of fender mounting holes...), fiberglass fenders, '39 grill and surround. I think the hood is '39. And I also have a partial '40 grill, a spare '39 grill surround, a NOS '39 rad support, and a whole pile of square steel tubing that I'm going to use to support it all on the Camaro front subframe (the subframe swap was done before me, and none of this mounting stuff really figured out). What I'll end up doing probably isn't going to look like anything you can show me, but I need someplace to start, and I've never had a chance to look over a stock '39 to see how all this is "supposed" to go together. Hell, I've never seen how the stock support rods go back to the firewall in person- just in pics!
