For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 62 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 62 | What have any of you done to upgrade your wiper mechanism? I replaced the motor with a modern one but the old linkage is driving me crazy. It is sloppy and very noisy because of that. Do any of you know of a source for replacement linkage pieces or a different type of system? They run about $180.00, but I dont know if they replace the linkage, as well. Hopefully somebody with experience will chime in. Off topic, I am an amature blacksmith my self. I build bits and spurs and do some simple forging to go with that. I love to watch a good blacksmith at work. Ralph | | |
